Stonehill College is offering prayers for Pope Francis after the Pope passed away on April 21.
In an email to the community, Father John Denning, C.S.C., president of the College, said Pope Francis' efforts to "bring hope to a world in need" aligned with the College's goals and approach to education.
"Specifically, his ministry focused on cherishing creation, caring for society’s most vulnerable, practicing interfaith dialogue, and validating the inherent dignity of others," Denning said in his email.
Denning also said the College will hold a Mass on Wednesday, April 23, at 12:05 p.m. to pray for Pope Francis' "eternal rest and peace."
