The women’s ice hockey team concluded their season on March 2, following a three-game series playoff against Saint Anselm.
During the season, the team had a record of 13-17-5 overall and a 13-10-5 record in the New England Women’s Hockey Alliance.
Their performance throughout the season secured them a spot to go head-to-head with Saint Anselm to see who will make it to the semi-finals.
The best of three games began on Feb. 28 at Bridgewater Ice Arena, with all three games played on the home ice.
The team opened the series with a win with a score of 2-1 in double overtime against the Hawks.
In the first game, Meave Connolly, a junior forward, scored the game-winning goal, while Bailey Feeney also contributed with a second-period goal.
In the second game, Saint Anselm won 4-3.
During the second game, Maddi Achtyl was a key player for Stonehill, scoring the Skyhawks' two goals.
In the final game, Saint Anselm won again 4-2, concluding their season.
However, Connolly and Feeney both were the lead scorers in this game, maintaining their competitive edge.
Connolly, a forward, finished the season with four goals, six assists and totaled 10 points.
Feeney, also a forward, had 14 goals, 11 assists, and 25 points during the 2024-2025 season.
